Foundation Program

4 years = BSc degree

Fresh out of secondary school heading into BSc.

BSc Program

3 years = BSc degree

A-Levels, OND or current undergraduates.

International Year One

3 years = BSc degree

Finished secondary school without further qualifications, or strong WAEC.

Top-Up Program

1 year = BSc degree

HND holders or BSc from non-fully-accredited schools.

Extended MSc

15 Months = MSc degree

HND or third-class degree holders.

MSc (with/without Advanced Practice)

1 year = MSc degree 1 year + 1 year internship = MSc + Work Experience

BSc degree holders.

PhD

3–4 years = PHd degree

MSc holders. Dependents welcome.

English Language

Requirements made clear.

Most universities require a minimum of Credit in WAEC or NECO, or:

  • IELTS / TOEFL — min. 6.5 for MSc, 5.5 for BSc
  • Some universities arrange their own English test
  • Some accept Medium of Instruction (MOI) in lieu of WAEC/NECO

Finance (UK)

Understanding the numbers.

Deposits start at £2,500 and can be up to £7,000 or more depending on the university. Deposits are usually refundable and most school fees can be paid in instalments after arrival.

Maintenance fees + balance of school fees must be in the account for 28 days (POF). IHS and visa fees are non-negotiable. Tuberculosis test required (≈ ₦85,000). Fees subject to change.
